Lighthouse Pentecostal Church

- Rebuilding Update -

Like the majority of people in living in St. Bernard Parish, we are also going through a rebuilding process and dealing with all of the challenges and issues that come with it. Since hurricane Katrina in August of 2005, we have been vigorously working our rebuilding plan. We have encountered numerous obstacles, setbacks, and delays, but God has proved Himself on our behalf time and time again.

Nehemiah faced some impossible situations when he had a desire to rebuild the walls and gates of Jerusalem. From the beginning until the end of the rebuilding project, God gave Nehemiah the vision, provision, and protection needed to complete the work. When the work was completed, everyone knew that it was God who did the work and no man took the credit. We still serve the same God today and He is able to see His work through to completion!

We anticipate being able to begin our worship services again in May 2008 and are very excited about the rebuilding progress that has been made thus far. We continue to pray daily for our leaders in government and for the people of this community. God is able to rebuild the walls and the gates!
